It is so great to see the pictures and read about your first day!!! This trip is such a wonderful experience for all of you to share! It is exciting for us at home to see each new update on the blog! Enjoy the wonderful trip and sharing God's love through your music!
Want to take a moment to thank Jeff for developing this blogsite, I have lived here for the past 2 days, having people at work watch it for me when I can’t.
It allows me to see the people I love, while they are so far away and to experience the things they are seeing and learning through their eyes and words.
I am humbled by the wonder of how much bigger the world is than our little spot on the map and how small our measure of time is in terms of a history that is so big that it is hard for us to understand.
I woke early this morning and went to the window to say “good morning” to a new dawn and waited for the first view of the sun, which had already kissed your faces. You are already into a new day, doing the work you went to do.
I pray that your minds and hearts are like sponges today, absorbing and integrating all the newness of this awesome moment in time for you. Listen like these are the first words you’ve heard in a new language that will change your lives. Speak with curiosity, love and discernment, asking open-ended questions so you can invite more of the same from the people you speak with. Sing like your hearts and souls are full of gratitude for the blessings that God has so graciously bestowed on all of us. You carry with you the love and best thoughts of our voices too.
Hello to all,
We wait anxiously each day to see new pictures and read more stories about your wonderful experience.
Thank you Jeff for this blogsite and giving all of us at home the opportunity to take part in the journey and feel at ease seeing our children's smiling, and even tired, faces.
Share God's love through your beautiful voices and enjoy every moment!
I would like very much to know what the look on young Eriks face is. is between notes?(if he is, he is late) is he sneezing? is he squinting to see something out the window? perhaps is trying to pass gas without incident. hmmm awkward
